Christopher Glenn's Intro

Hello everyone, taking this class means a lot to me as I move into the field of web design. Growing up,  I always had interest in technology and the way the world wide web works but I never understood it until reaching the college level. After taking my first web design class with Professor Adam I really found something I believe I can excel in. Having a Artsy background, the love for music, and some knowledge of technology I believe moving in web design and even just the DMD major would be the best choice I could make career wise.
This semester I hope to learn everything our Professor can give to us in the time we have with him. I am sure we will learn much more even those who believe they might know it all. Everyday is a new day to learn something new and learning about web design, I am sure speaking for myself I will have a lot to learn.

Bootstrap Studio seems to have a lot of potential. It's user interface is simplistic and removes the need for hard coding. The software makes website design a swift process without the hassle. However, the demo is very limiting in terms of assets and restricting in design. I found it difficult to fulfill my idea and had to resort to using the templates.

It breaks down the various UX/UI changes they make, but the why might be the most interesting part. As it turns out, many people who regularly use the site/app don't even realizing what swiping on mobile does or where certain features are located. As a result, many functions are changed to be in a more intuitive spot, even when users might not be aware the change is needed. Also, the Chris Nyland visit a couple weeks ago was very informative and interesting. He introduced us to him and his company, explained why college students are such an active/lucrative market base, and showed off some of his more successful campaigns.
