Intro

Hey everyone, My name is Elizabeth but I go by Eli (Ellie) my dream job would be to work for AMC maybe on the set of The Walking Dead. I am a super senior at UConn double majoring in Business Administration and Digital Media & Design. On my free time I like to listen to music, take nature walks, and volunteer. I am kind of going with the flow and just taking life one step at a time for now.  Some of my main interest are in marketing, production, web design, and so many other things. Like many of my fellow peers I am very excited to get familiarized with javascript and make some beats as well.
Hello! My name is Alexa, a graduating senior with Digital Media and Design: Strategies for Business as my major and a minor in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies. I came to Uconn as an Anthropology Major, switched to Buisness Admin, than came over to the DMD side because I missed art. I grew up drawing, painting, sewing, and working with clay. I guess I've always done a bit of everything! After taking a break from Web Design and Coding for about a year,  I'm ready to continue a relationship with it again. Javascript is something that is catching my attention at the moment, but I'm open to learning new things.

introduction

Hi! I'm Cassie. I'm a senior and concentrating in Digital Media Strategies for Business! I really want to work with social media/ marketing once I graduate and it would be a dream to work at Google or ENews. I'm obsessed with reality television so if social media/ digital media doesn't work out - you'll probably see me on Keeping Up With Cassie on E! or something. Before UConn, I went to Keene State freshman year and Eastern CT sophomore year. I'm finally at the place where [I think] I belong, so it's really exciting! I loved web design in Adam's class last semester, so I was super excited to take a more advanced class. I definitely want to create my own portfolio website for future employers, so I'm ready to learn more about web designing and javascript.

Induction Into The Advanced Web Design Class (i.e. classmate introduction number ???)

'Ello! I am Daria Yaseva, the fine arts student who just recently shifted from Game Design to 3D Animation concentration. I am currently VERY unexperienced in animation and wish to learn more about it, but currently don't have enough personal time to do so yet. I am pretty good at drawing still life, which I want to put to use in 3D Animation in terms of creating realistic models. On the side, I also want to major in English, do some creative writing, putting ideas together fluidly, all the fun stuff. As a designer, I want to learn a bit of everything, including web design as it is something with which you can play around and experiment. I definitely want to learn JavaScript seeing how it can solve various of my problems when I had to design my own portfolio the previous semester. I don't have any specific branches of JavaScript that I want to learn at the moment; everything seems to be useful depending on a specific situation or a project. I deeply - and regrettably -

Introduction

Hi, I'm Matt Gagliano. I have been developing websites for a number of years, and am looking forward to advancing my skills in Javascript for interactivity and web media (music & video).

My Introduction - Emily Serven

Hello, I'm Emily Serven. I have decided on web development as my career, and I'm looking forward to furthering my current skill set in this class. For my personal focus in this class, I want to work on a web application that involves JS, an API, a database, and some kind of backend framework or language (PHP? node.js? Ruby? I have no idea right now). My latest short-term passion project was a game of " Rock, Paper, Scissors " using JavaScript, and my latest long-term passion project is a website to hold documentation (" RefDocs ").  My portfolio is located here  ( the source code is here ) and includes my personal blog, which has even more of my thoughts on development and design.
