If Web is the Medium than the Message is...

With web as a medium we have been able to have access massive amounts of information quickly and more effectively than ever before. The web promotes this concept of sharing as a form of participation and as a result of this our society has compiled an extremely large stockpile of information. However the web does not only serve as a medium to deliver us information but for us as consumers of the web to respond and share our reactions to anything we find. The two way communication that the web allows for is what has separated the web from other major inventions that have impacted society. With that being said if web is the medium than the message is to participate as participation is what has allowed for the web to grow and become what it is today.
