If the Medium is the Message, then the Message is...

If the Medium is the Web, then the Message is the implict meanings of what the web brings. Users of the web tend to focus on the obvious, which is the content in front of them, for valuable information so they can create their own opinion on the content. But with the rate content flows to users and oversatuation of the content also take away the attention from subtly changes that content introduces. It's isn't always necessarily a bad thing, but lacking a monent to think about the implications and messages a piece of content has have positive and negative exeternalites.
