Just as Western architecture has evolved over the years, so has web design. The web started out neolithic with basic text structures and links dominating websites, and has evolved into it's current Renaissance aesthetic of clean, logical and precise designs. However, we are now delving into the state of Baroque design in which the rules will be broken, and websites as we know it will form into complex forms. Web designers are beginning to curate websites that generate an experience for the user rather than a simple brochure design that many websites are accustomed to now.
