Difference between web design and web development by Owen Far
When I first started out learning about web development and and web design, I used both terms interchangeably, but as I learned more about both, I was able to realize the distinctions. Web Design is the layout of a website that integrate the best user experience, and create an appealing environment for users. They use software to create layout designs and have to keep up with the latest design trends, as well as the aspects of color, typography, and readability. Web development entails turning the design into a live website. Front end and back-end developers have to work together to create the backbone, and the face of a website.
