This news is relatively old but it will have a huge impact to the tech world. The merger means that to companies with a lot of data on a huge amount of people will be able to exchange the data on users of the different platforms. This is bad news for consumers, who will have their data travel across unknown hands. Data mining like this bring forth a lot of questions about data privacy.

Using a creative progress indicator reduces the user perception of time. A Case Study (?) of a JavaScript Problem

This week at work, I ran into a very basic problem that needed to be solved with JavaScript. It involved lots of trial and error, but after 3 hours or so, I finally solved it.
