  • References Bootstrap as a great medium for creating a portfolio site (and non-coding sites such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace)
  • Importance of telling your story in a concise and visually appealing manner
  • Colors, Typography, Layout
    • few colors and clean layout 
  • Clear navigation (Portfolio, About, Resume, Contact *optional: Blog)
  • List the best projects at the top
  • MUST include explanations with your images, explain your design process!!

Bootstrap Studio seems to have a lot of potential. It's user interface is simplistic and removes the need for hard coding. The software makes website design a swift process without the hassle. However, the demo is very limiting in terms of assets and restricting in design. I found it difficult to fulfill my idea and had to resort to using the templates.

After the election this year, many people began to blame Facebook because of its spread of "fake news" and other kinds of misinformation... And we all know that Facebook has a really powerful algorithm.  It might be really bad how all of these fake news are misleading the world and making us take bad decisions in some way. The problem with this algorithms is that their filters select the information we see in our feed! As explained in the article,  An algorithm is a procedure or formula for solving a problem, based on conducting a sequence of specified actions. (Go  here  for more) In the world there are two "cultural algorithms" that rule the world: the ones for creating money and the ones for profit making. These two have influenced the formation and design of many companies and the economy globally. Have you ever thought how money is created?
