Medium Blogging

So this is the article that I thought was interesting:

Networking sucks. Because people don’t give a shit, that is the title of the blog post. I think it is relevant for us who are graduating and trying to get in touch with people that can help us out with our future. We all want to connect with well succeeded people and benefit from that relationship, but networking can be meaningless sometimes.

We often forget about the human side of the person we trying get a job with. As the author points out, there is no purpose on collecting a bunch of emails if at the end you have nothing to do with those people. We don't get to know them in detail apart from their work life. If we care about the individual, then true networks can emerge and that can become a more human connection, even friendships, and then helping each other out will be much more natural and pleasing process.

Think twice on how you gonna act the next networking event you attend.
