When i first saw the article Design is not art , the title was very shocking and almost insulting. Then i read the article and i realized its not insulting its true art and design and very different . As i read i realized i am a wonderful artist but i am an average designer. Art is expressive and a unique experience to every viewer and i am both very expressive and articulate. But design is very function, purposeful and i have no idea how to piece something together based on functionality and not solely based on aesthetics. There are artistic elements in design when it comes to the aesthetics but as the article so eloquently put it design is  engineering.

https://medium.com/advimu/it-is-time-to-discover-augmented-and-virtual-reality-43b5b24ef1d2#.wasd24u79 So this article talks about the differences of augmented and virtual reality. I personally prefer augmented reality as it incorporates what is actually in front of us and what is not. I also prefer it is as more people have access to it. For example, those who have a smartphone can download pokeman go and play a game that uses augmented reality.  Another reason as to why I prefer is that it something that we can use on a mobile platform which means we can create something using it today. However this does not mean I don't like VR. In fact I think VR will be better than augmented reality due to the fact that it is much more immersive. Overall, I'm can't wait for both and hope they both become huge.

Medium Post I read this article on how video games can distract us from the real-world problems of the world, I thought it was interesting but very stupid at the same time and let me explain. The article appeared to argue that videogames are distractions that we focus on while we ignore the issues of the real world like people dying and things of that nature. I found this concept to be really dumb because anything in the world can serve as a distraction to real world problems not just videogames. For example, even something as simple as a book can distract you from real world issues, take Twilight into consideration or Harry Potter (this shit doesn’t happen in real life my dude) neither does TV shows like “Fairly Odd Parents” or “Danny Phantom”. In addition, music can also be distracting to the events of real life, or apps on your cellphone, or a Fine ass girl walking down the street, literally ANYTHING can be distracting. But what all these things also have in common other than th...

This week Youtube announced release of YouTube TV . Youtube TV is a service that provides a TV cable TV service through Youtube. The service provides approximately 40 channels for $35 and provides access to all the content from youtube red. YouTube TV would also provide access to 6 accounts. Even thought this new development is expected, its exciting to see youtube continue to disrupt the television sphere. The new offerings will definetly increase the growth of Youtube and its parents company (Alphabet). The new offerings are attractive, especially to the growing number of cord-cutters who rely on online video platforms for entertainment. At the small time, Its scary to see Alphabet increase in market share. The slow pull to monopoly could potentially lead to the companies demise.
